Wow, I managed to pop in before all the spots were filled. What the heck, count me in, it looks like a really fun story, and the gods know I know amateur theatre!

Um, that sounded a little condescending, so let me say the 'what the heck' was inspired by my vacationing muse, not by any doubts about the project! I'll send tiny badger (inside joke) to drag my muse home.

I have a good start on it, but the ca-ca hasn't stayed out of the fan long enough for me to do anything more... Since it's FRIDAY (!!yay!!) the day job is out of the way -- I hope to get it done between show tapings this weekend. If I get lucky, maybe as soon as tonight, but worst case, late Sunday.

Hmm sorry. I don't think I can do this. I wrote a few drafts and they didn't really measure. Cheese I guess you can be my alternate...Sorry again, either way I just don't think I could measure...

You're so silly, I bet it's not as bad as you think;) I can read it for you off line if you want and we can work on what you don't like... email me if you want. I'll give you the weekend to think about it and if you're sure you don't want to post Cheese can be the alternate.

Well, I'd accept, though the position does frighten me a bit with the current quality of writing, and only if rocklee truly doesn't want to participate. I personally would like to see Rocklee's contribution.

Hi Guys, I'm fifth in line but am going to be away for ten days or so- out of the country- if anyone wants to switch places so i don't hold up the wheels of progress or Rocklee, if you want more time we could add cheese in? Its such a fun story so far!

Anyone want to trade spots on the red brockton?- I'll be away- starting- well, tommorrow and won't have access to the internet- or at least not for less than like $12.95 a minute- don't want anyone to think I disappeared or chickened out- although it is a little daunting following these acts- otherwise I'll be glad to do my chapter but it might not be done for a little while. I'm all for the original volunteers to finish out the chapter, but looking at profiles, I notice Jackofalltrades and JTW381 haven't logged on since September 12, and JeremyD hasn't since September 26. Chloe's going to be away for the next 10 days. I propose her keeping her spot in line, and using the time of her absence to have members of the aforementioned trio comment here to let us know they're still on StoryMash. If there's no response (10 days should be sufficient time), open it up to new volunteers. That fly with you, Honey?

Hi guys! I'm back. Sorry for the delay- That darn real life, back to work blues and jet lag really took its toll. Got a chapter almost done- maybe later tonight- got to proofread. Sorry for the delay- my writing chops were a little rusty. Hope all is well with everyone- have to catch up with what's been going on!

Hi guys, sorry I had held up the project a bit- I was wondering if I was supposed to do something computerwise so it registers that my chapter's finished in the project line up?- it just says Chloe by chapter 5- or do the computer gods do that? Fun to be back! Can't wait to read Wolframs addition and am mighty releived my part's over- phew! Felt a little out of my league at times! Cheers!

Just a quick pop-in. I saw this and had to quote it for those still to write their chapters:

In the last week and still just under 18,000 words short. Don't worry, I'll make it! If I can just get my space gypsy out of bed with the two cat-men from planet Grissa long enough to prove none of her troup of entertainers - who travel via magic, not spaceships - murdered my friend flickguy, a.k.a. the Au Pair from Earth in "Blood and Kittens".

Then again, there's a high word count to them staying in bed.

Just wanted to post a quick update. I'm hard at work on the next Red chapter, and should have something posted by the end of the week. -Wolf
