Hey everyone. My real name is Luke and I was born and raised and still currently residing in Ft. Lauderdale, FL I'm 28 years old. I've never seen snow in my life and I've been to New York three different times during Christmas! Grrr!

When I was younger I played a few sports and excelled throughout high school, until I ditched the glove for a guitar. I joined a metalcore band my senior year and we released a CD a few years later, only to break up a month after that!

After music, I turned my attention to the film industy. I always wanted to write and direct feature films so I figured I'd give it a shot. I never went to any kind of film school and my only writing "experience" came in 12th grade English Honors, but the reports I had to do were done mostly by my mom! Shhh!

I'm very creative and feel I have a gift for creating. I mostly write scripts and have just recently got into writing novels. I'm working on a novel now, although I'm slacking much more than I like. I'm lazy. I have about 75% of a feature length horror movie that I wrote and directed (its even listed on imdb) and done totally independent in the can but I ran out of money and it was put on "hold" two years ago...and by "hold" I mean that there's no going back to it. Ha!

I love writing but I hate to read (go figure!). If I had to pick a favorite fictional author, it would be Clive Barker. I love to watch movies, especially big budget action popcorn flicks! I'm a vegetarian and I'm straightedge but I can still have fun like none other!

Ok...I think I've bored myself so I KNOW that you're bored as well! I just want to say that I really enjoy this site and think that it's a wonderful place to work on your skills while meeting other writers at the same time!

You sound like a very talented person! If you buckle down and finish something, I'm sure it will be successful. Good luck with your endeavors...and with seeing that snow!

Hey Luke!! It's nice to meet you, I've read some of your chapters in the TSNK contest and you have done a great job!! You are definately talented. I confess that I didn't read any of the chapters till after I posted my own because I didn't want anyone to think I was taking ideas from them.... but I look forward to reading more of your work. I am on the west coast of Florida and I actually remember when it SNOWED here.....I think I was in 3rd grade at the time. HAHA=)

I'm a fan of yours from TSNK- sounds like you have a lot of projects on the burner- don't worry, i read that da Vinci only finished a small percent of projects he started- Its the sign of a high IQ- (lol- of course that means I should be splitting an atom or something with my "almost finished" files) Hope you get to experience snow, nothing beats making a snowman and running in for hot chocolate, no matter how old you are! I'm trying vegetarianism, yet again, haven't eaten a mammal in years,- but shrimp scampi is my downfall! have to read your latest contest entry! happy writing.

Ahhh, the riddle has been broken!! I intend no offense, but for the longest time I couldn't decide your gender...I was leaning toward female...LOL. Seriously, no offense intended. I like your writing style a lot and look forward to more of it!

No offense taken at all WW. Actually, I'll take it as a credit to my writing that I could relate enough to the opposite sex and transfer that to paper and perhaps "fool" the reader!! But yes, I am male! And thanks for liking my writing style. I think its a style that could be really loved or really hated (which shows during the TSNK contest) and I'm cool with that! Thanks again!

Man, I can relate!! I've given up (not totally, but..erm, mostly) on winning a danged contest, anyway. My new goal is simply knocking nashs' socks off...LMAO. I've come close a couple of times, but still, no cigar (yet).

Good luck with that! Haha! I've been a fan of yours from the TSNK chapters and I can't believe that neither one of us have won one yet!!! If you get a chance, you should read my Chapter 9 entry and let me know what you think! Its frustrating sometimes because I seem to get good comments but low rankings...I don't get it!

I'll do that! I hope you're not judging my writing solely on TSNK, after all, none were winners...lol. Seriously, I'd like to read what you think of some of my other work. There's only about 45 chapters or so. Maybe by tomorrow noon? LOL.

I promise you I'll read some when I can, WW...I wish I had more time to be reading but right now, unfortunately, its real low on my things-to-do pole. But I am looking forward to it and I'm sure I'll mash a chapter or five! Haha!

I am pretty isolated when it comes to available and similiar minds. I am a multi-tasker though so, the videography we are similiar though I am no proficient. :) I love elaborate wording, but for the past five years, working as a photojournalist I have been restricted to writing at a 7th grade capacity to ensure reader following. :P No Fun!
