I joined StoryMash so I could find out what people think about my writing and also to get some ideas for new ones. I have been in a rut for a while and havent been able to write anything for a few months now. I have only been adding my old stuff on here. So any comments?

Welcome to SM. I am a little confused. What's your old stuff? Everything you have posted is 48 hours old or less. I admit that you were one of my inspirations for "Gimme Five". Currently your poems make up 5 of the entries on SM page one. You want opinions so here are a few of mine: Forget the scatter gun approach. Submit a small collection of poems or add one poem a week. Between your entries read and respond to other writings. I don't see that you have made any comments so far. Try it. Be a masher. Add on to a writing in progress. Your poetry seems very personal. I applaud your ability to open your heart in verse. But I'd also like to see the writer in you envision the poetry that exists all around you. Find inspiration in an inanimate object, a weather pattern, a turkey baster, a roller skate. I look forward to reading where your future inspiration takes you.

Well thank you. Oh, those are out of my notebook I keep. They are from a little over a year ago. I have thousands of them. I havent been able to write anything...well actually finish anything for a few months. Its irritating. But thank you for the feedback. Its very helpful. And I will try the inanimate object idea. It seems like it will be a good challenge.
