Hi. I know I'm not completely new to storymash, but I have yet to introduce myself to you all. My name is Dave, I'm 22 years old, and I am a Marine stationed in San Diego. I've been writing for a while now, almost my entire life, and I've written a lot of opinion pieces, fictional stories, and even real life accounts of events in my life that made me who I am. I just wrote a piece, not of an event in my life, but an event which will scar my roommate and best friend. I ask you all, please read this, and the next time you see a member of the military, be it Marine, Soldier, Sailor or Airman, thank them for their service, their sacrifice, and their courage.
