Since there's still no way to notice new additions to stories without opening them individually and checking, I propose using this forum to announce when you've added chapters to existing storylines. (New stories have their own area; this is the closest I can think of to work with second chapters and beyond.

I added to Le Blog d' Uselessness, also contributed to by Chloe. Feel free to jump in.

Both branches of the Saga series also have new additions - by Cheeseliker, an_doschach, myself, and wolfram.

This topic has the potential to quickly grow to 100 entries; please use it only to announce continuations. (Ideally, another forum area will be created where we can open individual topics for any second chapters.)

I have added a chapter to my story "The Truth About Mr. Dooley", although only in draft form. I am seeking comments prior to publication from those so inclined.

I've added to, "When Bad Thing's Taste Good", also finished up my contribution to the October Chill project with, Feasting from Afar finale, Mary (8), and One to Remember(6).

another chapter three to The Bank Robbers (someone added a fabulous four!)

and an old one Scidfi (where are you?) and I were batting back and forth called The Painting

also I know its supposed to be "continued only" but I'll be a rebel and see if I could get some feedback on one I started a while back: Midas Uncovered- only as it sort of uses a storymash type setting- although it's a little rough around the edges. off to read! Cheers!

Yup Nash really great thinking. I just added a chapter to the "I have 30 Days to live" storyline,a chapter three on "When Bad Things Taste Good" and many many more to come...

I got such great feedback on 'Suicide Watch' that I went ahead and posted a second chapter....

writer- you're funny! Sorry I should have checked that noone added a capter right before I moved mine from microsoftword to "add a chapter"-I thought I was pretty speedy on that one- oh well- I would have enjoyed continuing yours, esp with the new fairy character- ooh I guess i still could?

With Le Blog, there'll be three random words at the end which the next writer has to include in the story- Nash did a great job with:terminal velocity, bavaria, and olive oil if you read his chpt. three. happy writing.-

chloe - I'm afraid of a similar path crossing with Cheeseliker who has already stated he's working on a mash to Le Blog (nash's mash with the words - Abraham Lincoln, yellow snow and ball peen hammer). So, I'll wait to see whether he does or not.
But, the really good news is that I took a Sped Redin' course and whizzed through about a thousand and one pages of dictionary!! I fully understand Le Blog now and I'm rarin' to go...lol.
Yep, nash did a great job. He ALWAYS does a great job. I think (and this is just twixt the two of us, ok?) he's a reverse psychologist. A backwards shrink, you know? He puts all this really great writing, really profound stuff (even when he's being funny about it) out there so that all of us "normal" folk will go absolutely bat **** tryin' to figure it all out and can't admit it when we can't because, well because then everyone else'd think we were stupid or something.. you know? So, then...he lures you into mashing one of his traps. Soon as you do that, well...you've just shown yourself to be inadequate to the task (most of us) and then, finally (I'm getting there) he offers up a round of critique and comment that will baffle your baffles and while your tearing your hair out, half way around the world, he'll be neatly penning into his little yellow book with the purple polka-dots....got that sucker again!!! LMAO.
What I'm trying to do is reach the limit for words or characters in each comment box. I'm tired of it now, though, so...adios! :o)

Haha! He is a force to be reckoned with- his critiques alone are literary masterpieces- but don't worry- we're all just here to let off a little creative steam- I'm just happy if anyone pays me the compliment of mashing one of mine!

I hope someone picks up "The bank robbers"- (you can find chapter three under my name and backtrack) he-be (sorry @ spelling?) did the best chapter four- sort of international thriller!

Nice addy, Cheese. Enjoyed it. For an even sillier branch, I added a chapter 3 to The Awakener by mybeautifuldaydream and Polonius.

Added a chapter 4 to a storyline I started a while back. The chapters go like this:
Running(me)-Taken(me)-Taken:Discovery(wwb)
and the new one by me: Discovery:Hesitation.
Please take a look, its a decent little story so far in my opinion.

You can tack on chapter 5 - "Deliberation" after Cheeseliker's "Discovery:Hesitation". Yeah, I mashed on it. Now quit dallying and read the story from the beginning, and maybe mash on it too. (It's worth it.)

I just posted a re-edited chpt of 'Harvest'and the last October Chill chpt of 'Devil's Night' a few days ago...

I finished off Elevatormusic's OC storyline;)

I added a 2nd chapter to 'When Night Things Come Calling,' by marcusgregory....

Also a draft for a story I am working on called 'The Picture Frame....'

Just added to the storyline I was talking about before, adding a chapter after wwb's. Its getting good guys, you should check it out. It's titled 'Torture'.

I've added four additional chapter to Eternal Soul since I originally posted the prologue. Some of the chapters were too long so I had to split them in half. Does anyone know how to make it so that when pasting from Word to this site, it doesn't lose things like indentations, new lines for separate paragraphs, and italics? I've been doing it all manually but what a pain.

Finally added a second chapter to wsells' "ADVANTAGE - Chapter One "Wronged." (the Cons On Call storyline.)

I published a final chapter to Cheese's "Running" storyline. I say "A" final chapter, since other people are welcome to continue it along a different line if they so desire.

...and, because they didn't post it here...

dogdeity added three chapters and an ending to Toby's storyline (you'll have to go via his profile, since for some reason they're not on the regular chapter tree).

wsells continued the ConsOnCall storyline with "Off to Shooter"

I added a chapter to Themagnopen's "The Tale of the Sentry and the Old Sequoia Tree"

I tagged ConsOnCall again. And after three chapters in two days, I'll see you folks again next week.

Added a chapter 3 to Dirty Laundry. I'm hoping someone will mash it, as I'm not sure where it's going at this point. :P

Published Mañana Can Wait - The Story Revisited. I initially published the lyrics to the song and then thought I'd turn into a real story, publishing Mañana Can Wait - The Story. Fabulous comments from nash, HG, PEPPZ and wsells led me to revise...thus, MCW - The Story Revisited. Hey, Dog...thanks for the truly encouraging comments!!

I put up additions to "Booty Shorts" (Farty Shorts) and "Ricker and Troy ****" (Ricker and Troy Fart). But they aren't real chapters. I only put them up because those two are the worst stories on here. It will take you two minutes to read them, which you should only do if you like fart humor.

I added a chapter, with much apologies to Nash, to the wonderful story Rainy Days and Mondays. I needed to write something that wasn't in my comfort zone and his story was too good to be left alone.

It was painful because I wanted to twist it to the dark side and telling it in present tense was a killer. Total killer.

I hope I didn't mess it up too badly and thank you Nash for a great toy to play with.

Another chapter three, with no apologies to Rian, to Rainy Days and Mondays has been added.

I have added a Chapter to whatever it is that my "Daniel's Tale" is turning into. And I think since it is over 3000 words, I owe whoever reads it an apology. LOL.

Put up an addition to Wolfram's Cop Out which itself is an addition to A Brilliant Idea by Beanpole which itself is an addition to Trouble. Intense, action-filled, and short, it is an excellent storyline to read in five minutes and then spend a couple minutes contributing. Check it out.
