This guy, madugundukrishna, who has been a member since July 4th, 2009, has been over crowding way too much! I looked at his/her's profile page and he has written about 160 chapters, but curiously, no comments... Everytime I click on the stories page, all I ever see is something posted by him! It annoying because I have to scroll through 2 or 3 pages to find anything else written by the other members of SM! Is anyone else with me on this, or am I just irrationally bothered with nothing important? |

I agree that this particular writer has crossed a line of responsible behavior. But I have been reminded by my friends on this site that all I need do is ignore it. So that's what I am doing. Unfortunately history teaches us that without respect for ground rules, simply ignoring the offenders seldom, if ever, corrects their behavior. |

Thank you and I understand your points. I've had a hard internal debate on whether or not I should of said anything at all. |

I agree with dkk (that it's annoying) and alharris (that ignoring the offender will not correct his/her behavior. |

I have to add that there are several who "over-post" this site, but the others really seem to be actually writting so therefore I have no issue with them, this guy just seems to be preaching. For some like me, I hardly ever publish anything. But what happens when I do, it will be skimmed over because all you ever see is this guys name. It's not fair to people like me, or for others who are looking for a good read! ;) So I'm glad this was braught up, and that Katrina has noticed and forwarded it on to the SM God, he-who-fixes-everything. LOL |

Something else that may be good for me to bring up is that if you vote down spam chapters, they will eventually be removed from the main page. |

That's like 160 chapters people would have to go through and 'vote down'. |

One negative to this suggestion: To vote on a chapter, you have to "read" it. By "reading" it, that author generates revenue. By that author generating revenue, isn't that an encouragement to them to continue their actions? |

I understand--the majority of this user's chapters have been deleted. I'm just saying that in the time it takes us to find and delete spam chapters, voting the chapters down can help to clear up the front page. |

I as well noticed this. Attempting to sift/read through some, well, I am kind of stumped to say the least. Spam? |
