Twice now, while trying to navigate to a particular author's profile to look at that author's work, my browser is suddenly redirected a malicious virus site which continuously tries to download a virus onto my compuer. Obviously this is problematic. It seems that SM's security may have been compromised? Is there anything that can be done?

Well, guess I'm not the only one, then. That's happened to me at least six times within the past 3 days.

Yeah - thank goodness I have good security programs that ask for confirmation before anything gets downloaded off the internet, or I'd have been screwed royally by now. The most annoying part is, it keeps trying to pop up, and it takes incredible speed and timing to get through all the pop-ups in order to actually close the browser...

Happened to me, too. Only once, as I've been a little hesitant to use the site since.

This is awful--I'm going to let the developers know about this issue right now.
