Authors "Mashed for Cash" in StoryMash's First Creative Writing Contest Ever!

StoryMash, the future of collaborative fiction. And the future has cash prizes! To reward the authors and amateur writers of our creative writing community and encourage collaborative writing StoryMash holds periodic creative writing contests. This was one such contest.

To celebrate StoryMash.com going live we held a creative writing contest with over $500 in prizes

For our first creative writing contest there were over 260 competing chapters, published by 119 new authors, and a total of 670 users reading and voting.

Thanks to everyone in our writing community who participated and made our first StoryMash creative writing contest an awesome success!

Chapters that were published between Nov 1, 2007 and Dec 20, 2007 at 23:59:59 UTC were eligible. The contest voting ended Dec 21, 2007 at 23:59:59 GMT.
