Hello, everyone. My name is Ethan and I welcome you to StoryMash, where the future of Internet fiction is being written... by you!

We here at StoryMash invite you to participate in our new, interactive writing experience. I'm humbled by all the attention we've been getting (already!) and really looking forward to seeing where it all leads. It's your participation that will take us places we'd never even thought of going; your submissions and feedback that will help to nurture and grow this site - so stay in touch!

Our goal at StoryMash is to create the finest literary entertainment possible, while allowing people to work with other talented writers they'd never have otherwise encountered. We also aim to pay authors as much as possible, based upon the peer-rated success of their contributions. Should you quit your day job and expect to make a living, writing for StoryMash full time? Well, not yet, but who knows what the future might bring!

I don't wish to burden you with too much information at the outset, but we envision entire books, screenplays and other written works, as yet unconceived, being born, right here, at StoryMash. Please keep an eye out for our periodic entries. We'll be sharing tips, tricks, and sound advice meant to make your experience more enjoyable and rewarding.
